Executive Team

John Reece, President

John Reece

John Reece is President of TAKE Supply Chain and has more than 35 years experience in the high tech industry. As President, Reece is responsible for the development and implementation of the company's strategic vision. Reece joined the TAKE Supply Chain Executive Team in 2002 as Chief Financial Officer where he oversaw all financial, human resources, legal, and facilities functions of the company.

Prior to joining TAKE Supply Chain, Reece served as CFO of Tantau Software before its acquisition by 724 Solutions in January 2001. Prior to that, Reece was CFO for Reliant Data Systems where he was instrumental in the acquisition of Reliant by Compuware. Before that, Reece served in various management roles at Tandem Computers including Vice President and Corporate Controller. Reece began his career in the computer industry at IBM, where he worked for 25 years in various finance and operational management positions.

He holds a degree in accounting from Mississippi State University and is a member of the Financial Executives Institute (FEI). Reece serves on the board of Intrinsity (a fabless semiconductor company).


Warren Sumner, Chief Operating Officer and General Manager, Enterprise Software Group

Warren Sumner

Warren Sumner has overall responsibility for the sales, marketing, product management, professional services, and support functions at TAKE Supply Chain. In this role, he guides the division's product footprint, go-to-market strategies and revenue-generating activities. Sumner has over 20 years of experience in manufacturing and supply chain operations, software, and consulting. He joined the TAKE Supply Chain Executive Team in 2002 as Vice President of Professional Services and was responsible for the implementation and enhancement of all TAKE Supply Chain and partner products.

Prior to joining TAKE Supply Chain, Sumner held senior management positions at Trellis Development Group and SupplySolution, where he brought innovative supply chain software solutions to market. Before that, he managed Garden.com's direct fulfillment supplier network as director of operations and director of internet supply chain. Sumner has also held management positions at Thomas Group, The Brake Shop, Pinnacle Brands, and Deloitte Consulting. He began his career as a project engineer with Allied-Signal Aerospace Company.

Sumner holds a mechanical engineering degree from Texas A&M University and an MBA from the McCombs School of Business at UT Austin.


G. Ramesh, Vice President of TAKE Solutions

Warren Sumner

G. Ramesh serves as Vice President of TAKE Solutions. Ramesh has a Post Graduate degree in Commerce and has a specialized diploma in Materials Management. He also has over 20 years of experience in the areas of procurement, warehousing, inventory management and transportation. Ramesh has worked in organizations such as HCL Limited, Pepsi, Matrah Cold Stores, Oman United Agencies and Sembcorp Logistics.


Venky Sivaraman, Executive Vice President

Venky Sivaraman

Venky Sivaraman is Executive Vice President at TAKE Supply Chain and is responsible for product rationalization and product engineering.

Prior to joining TAKE Supply Chain, Sivaraman held several senior management positions at Manhattan Associates where he helped them build their India operations from scratch while managing product engineering, implementations services and product sustenance.

Sivaraman holds an MS in Mathematics as well as a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science from Bharathidasan University.


Tom Hernandez, Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales

Warren SumnerWith more than 25 years of experience in growing innovative technology companies, Tom Hernandez is responsible for leading TAKE’s efforts to drive the company’s global focus of delivering high value supply chain solutions to manufacturers and distributors worldwide. Hernandez has a track record of selling managed service solutions, SaaS model applications and consulting services to a broad range of markets, both domestic and international.

Hernandez most recently served as vice president, enterprise asset management for Infor-SSA. Prior to that, he was vice president of sales for CommerceQuest and director of sales for Peregrine Systems.

Hernandez holds a BS in Computer Science degree from Georgia College and State University.


Stan Schoch, Vice President of Sales

Chad Denton

Stan Schoch is Vice President of Sales at TAKE Supply Chain and is responsible for leading the global sales organization. A 30-year software sales and sales management veteran, Schoch has a track record of building and leading multi-million dollar revenue producing sales organizations.

Schoch came to TAKE Supply Chain in 2005 from Aelita Software (acquired by Quest Software), where he served as Regional Sales Director, responsible for hiring and managing sales and systems engineers for the company's successful central region. Previously, Schoch served as Vice President of Sales at Roc Software, where he managed the company's largest accounts and led the sales organization in achieving six of the highest revenue producing months in company history. Prior to joining Roc Software, Schoch held senior sales positions at Tivoli Systems, Inc., Academics XL Software, and IBM.

Schoch holds a BBA from the University of Texas at El Paso.


Dusty Knight, Vice President of Services & Support

Chad Denton

As Vice President of Services & Support, Dusty Knight is responsible for managing teams in the Professional Services, Support Center and Customer Relations departments. His focus is on increasing customer satisfaction and retention by delivering high-quality projects that are on-time and on-budget, by running a customer-focused support organization and by working with customers to increase their value from the TAKE Supply Chain partnership.

Knight joined TAKE Supply Chain in 2000 as the Consulting Operations Manager and has also served as a Project Manager in Professional Services and as the Director of Customer Relations. Prior to joining TAKE Supply Chain, he spent six years and held a number of roles within the Public Sector Vertical at Deloitte Consulting.

Knight holds an MBA and a BBA from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin.


James Robb, Director of Finance & Operations

As the Director of Finance and Operations, James Robb is responsible for managing teams in the Finance and Accounting departments, which also includes Contracts, Facilities, IT and HR. Robb oversees daily operations and is responsible for financial reporting, planning, and operational and financial performance metrics, including business and profitability analysis.

Robb joined TAKE Supply Chain’s consulting organization in 2000 and has served as both a Senior Consultant and a Project Manager. Prior to joining TAKE Supply Chain, Robb worked as a Business Analyst for Hewitt Associates.

Robb holds a MBA from the Acton School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Distribution from Texas A&M.
